One of the core aims in our programme is to offer the necessary support to help those living with disabilities to regain their independence. This is not only restricted to household tasks but also aims to encourage participation and engagement in a wide range of community activities. Participation in activities has proved to help both physical and mental wellbeing, increase confidence levels and stimulate the mind.
Here at Olympiacare we have fully qualified support staff who are committed to helping you find the programme you want. Whether it be a new hobby or an opportunity to develop new skills our staff will work closely with you to find a suitable activity for you.
In addition to finding suitable community events and programmes we also offer other services to assist those living with disabilities to lead a more independent life which involves them making their own choices and decisions. These include assisting participants in finding employment. We offer partnerships with a number of companies
who employ larger numbers of people with disabilities. In addition to finding an initial placement we also offer on the job mentoring of
participants to assist them in overcoming any challenges they may be facing in the workplace.
We also offer a range of classes where participants can learn new skills or develop existing older ones to help prepare them to enter the job market.
